2006 MQA Award Winner

VP of Medical Affairs and Quality, SSM DePaul Health Center
Kevin Johnson, MD, is the Vice-President of Medical Affairs and Quality at SSM DePaul Health Center. He received is MD from St. Louis University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. Dr. Johnson has 30 years of experience in medicine, 20 years at SSM and the last 13 years within quality.

We will present on overview of the certification renewal process. The presentation will cover many points faced by someone recertifying, and addressing issues such as sources of RU's, Synchronizing, required documentation, and how to prepare your final package. The presentation will also include an opportunity to address specific questions posed by members. If you have any points you would like addressed in the meeting, you can e-mail them in advance to meyerwc@charter.net, or ask them at the meeting.
William has also worked as a volunteer at ASQ, in support of test development for ASQ’s Certification program. Over the past 10 years, he has been involved with the CMI, CQM, CQPA, and CQIA, and has served on the CQIA subcommittee for the past four years. He is currently the CQIA Certification Chair. Other LC members have a variety of expertise in the Quality field. Most carry multiple certifications and have recertified a number of times.
