Sr. Operational Excellence Consultant

Christiana Care - a large two-hospital health system located in Newark, DE is currently accepting resumes for the following position:

Sr. Operational Excellence Consultant:

• Position plays a lead role in operations improvement support to CCHS departments by functioning as an analyst, facilitator, consultant and/or project manager.
• Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare, Business or other closely related curriculum required. Some individual positions may require RN or other clinical education or license.
• Minimum five years experience in healthcare management, healthcare consulting or process improvement required.

The department (Operational Excellence) reports directly to the system COO and as such we are involved in a number of exciting and challenging process improvement projects. Prior experience managing large projects associated with ED throughput, hospital patient flow and acute care redesign a major plus.
