PMI Team Leader - Tenet Healthcare
Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Team Leader for its newly created Performance Management and Innovation (PMI) Department.
The PMI Team Leader will be responsible for actively leading working teams made up of hospital directors and personnel through the Commitment to Quality (C2Q) Transformation Process. This individual must facilitate problem identification (through analysis and interviews), solution development (through collaborative brainstorming and teamwork), and initiative implementation (action planning, process development and follow-up). This person will also be primarily responsible, along with other Team Leaders, for transferring these skills (analytics, meeting management, lean operations, etc.) to the hospital leadership and front line staff through training and coaching activities. The position functions very much like an internal consultant, since the vast majority of the work is done in a project setting on location at the various hospitals in the region.
The PMI Team Leader will be responsible for leading PMI teams composed of an ER Specialist; OR Specialist; Nurse Administration Specialist; Operations Administration Specialist; Imaging Specialist; Cath Lab Specialist; Case Management Specialist; Clinical Analyst; Operations Analyst; Pharmacy Specialist; and Productivity Management Specialist. PMI team members are responsible for driving operations projects in Tenet's hospitals to improve productivity and efficiency and decrease costs. The team is tasked with delivering a rapid assessment and a detailed roadmap for improvements relative to quality, service and cost management. The successful PMI Team Leader will have responsibility for managing the teams toward achieving production, profitable and effective goals in each of the facilities.
Other key responsibilities include providing support and guidance for baseline metric assessment; assisting with reports to senior management; completing assignments from the corporate program management office; and interviewing physicians.
