Management Engineering Regional Director - Banner Health
Banner Health is seeking a Regional Director of Management Engineering for its Arizona Region operations. Located in Phoenix, the individual in this role will plan and direct the work of 8 - 10 Management Engineers serving Banner's nine Arizona Region hospitals with organizational performance measurement and analysis, including productivity and operational benchmarking, formal and informal training, team facilitation, work process analysis, and consultation with healthcare leaders. The Arizona Regional Director will work closely with the Western Regional Director and will have responsibility for some systemwide projects and activities.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred, in Industrial Engineering or a healthcare related field or have related experience. The position requires significant work experience in healthcare industrial engineering or operations typically achieved with 7 - 10 years of managerial or supervisory experience. The successful candidate must be able to plan and direct the application of quantitative management techniques, performance of complex data analysis, and use of computer based tools. Effective human relations and communications skills and the ability to identify and meet customer needs in a team environment are required.
