Director of Performance Improvement Engineering

Our client is a not for profit healthcare system in a very desirable, coastal area of Florida. This position will report to the COO and lead/facilitate systemwide organizational process improvement initiatives identified in the corporate Strategic Plan and PI Plan. The director will lead the development and implementation of improvement systems, enhancing clinical and non-clinical outcomes, patient throughput, core measures, etc. A Bachelor's Degree in education, business, nursing, organizational development, industrial engineering or related field and five years of management/leadership experience in a change agent role with a healthcare organization is required. A Master's Degree is highly desirable. Six Sigma Black Belt required. Expertise utilizing varied PI tools such as Lean Sigma, SPC, Simulation Modeling and other PI tools is highly desirable.
