Before Dinner Presentation: Quest for Best: “Case studies of problems faced by quality giants of the past”

Presenter: Bill Blackburn

Mr. Blackburn is known globally in quality circles as Wild Bill — has had the rare chance to study, work, and hob knob over 40 years with quality folks at all organization levels and across functional lines. These include all Honorary Members of the American Society for Quality since the Dr. Juran’s induction in 1968.

This presentation will focus on Bill’s experience with some top guns in the never-ending pursuit of excellence. Based on requests from members of the St. Louis Section of ASQ, these will include some of the following case studies from these quality giants of the past:

o Dr. Joseph M. Juran’s Pareto Principal and Quality Trilogy pave the way for CQI, QFD, TQM, etc.
